About Me
I used to be scared of the world. But confidence is something you build—sometimes in unexpected places.

As a freshman, I took a metals class on a whim, stepping into a room full of loud, rowdy boys. The air smelled of soot and metal, and I had no idea what I was doing. Learning the machines was tough, but when we started welding, I found my element. It became my escape—stress melted away with every weld.

I walked in intimidated but walked out fearless. That class taught me more than just working with metal—it showed me I could step outside my comfort zone and thrive. It shifted my perspective on life. I became more assertive, adaptable, and unapologetically myself.

My love for art has always been there—from my dad teaching me about his sketches while he was in the army to understanding our impact on the planet. Metals class was just the start. I continued challenging myself, taking engineering, woodworking, and college-level courses at Gateway Technical College.

Now, I’m pursuing a graphic design degree at Gateway, pushing forward with the same determination that welding first sparked in me. This is just the beginning.

My Story
As I grew up, my parents, and their business focused on historical reenactments, which sparked my early love for storytelling, design, and handcrafted detail.

I'm the youngest of three, with my sisters being the naturally talented with school. The oldest, a Microbiologist, with a love of learning. The middle was particular with plans, and fell into finance, scheduling everything.

Throughout school worked at Black Point Estate and Gardens was the most memorable, a historic house museum, where I deepened my appreciation for art, architecture, and the power of preserving stories through space and design.

These experiences continue to shape how I approach my work: with care, curiosity, and creativity. All with my lovely partner, Cosmo, who helps and encourages me all throughout the way.
